La Petite Écurie is an oboe band performing music of the 17th and 18th centuries on historical instruments: two oboes, taille, bassoon and percussion. The name of the ensemble refers to the “Grande Écurie”, a musical establishment at the royal court of Louis XIV in Versailles, where most of his wind players were employed. The group was recently selected by the REMA (European Early Music Network) as a promising new ensemble and invited to perform in front of a broad selection of European early music promoters. In 2021 the group will record its first CD with ARCANA.
